FALL RIVER - All are welcome to the fifth Sunday after Pentecost at United Methodist Church, 600 Highland Ave. Pastor Peter Parent will be bringing a message using Colossians 1: 1-14, titled “Faith, Hope and Love: A look into a church with false teachings needing encouragement." The Liturgist, Union Lay Minister Michael Foy, will read the following scriptures: Amos  7:7-17, Psalm 82, Luke 10:25-37. Worship service is followed by light refreshments, free to all in the social hall.

Large print bibles are available on request.

The choir will be resting over the summer and will return in the fall.

The nursery is open for parents who need to use it during the service.  It is not supervised by the church. Any questions or concerns, call the church at 508-676-3091, before 1 p.m. or leave a message.

On Monday evenings at 6:30 the prayer group “Sweet Hour of Prayer” meets and all are welcome.

Vacation Bible School:  The theme this summer is “Going to Mars and Beyond. "All are welcome. Sign-up is requested before the class, by a responsible adult.
