Chandigarh: Brace for rainy yet humid weekend, says Met department

CHANDIGARH: Get ready for a rainy yet hot and humid weekend as moderate to heavy rainfall in on the cards for Tricity. On Friday as well the first half was comparatively cooler however, the second half of the day became hot and humid. As a result, the day temperature shot up slightly.
The maximum temperature on Friday was recorded at 32.8 degrees, 2 degrees below normal while the minimum temperature was recorded at 27.8 degrees, 4 degrees above normal. The rainfall was recorded at 10.6mm in the city.
The maximum temperature on Thursday was 31.8 degrees Celsius, 3 degrees below normal, while on Wednesday, it had shot up to 32.8°C, 2 degrees below normal. On Tuesday it was 31.8°C, 3 degrees below normal. The minimum temperature was recorded the same on Wednesday, at 27.8 degrees, four degrees above normal. On Tuesday, it was 27°C, 3 degrees above normal.
