'Arjun Patiala' song Sachiya Mohabbatan chronicles Punjabi kudi Kriti Sanon and gabru Diljit Dosanjh's blossoming love

We wonder why Diljit hasn't sung the song himself, especially considering that most of the lyrics are in Punjabi, which happens to be his mother tongue too (food for thought?).

The makers of Diljit Dosanjh and Kriti Sanon starrer Arjun Patiala have unveiled the third song from the film. Titled Sachiya Mohabbatan, the track is a romantic number which chronicles Kriti and Diljit's blossoming love story.

Right at the beginning of the visuals of the song, it's declared that Sachiya Mohabbatan is the 'compulsory pyaar wala gaana' that every rom-com has. That is followed by scenes in which we can see Kriti Sanon in the avatar of a desi Punjabi kudi, and our very own gabru thaanedaar Diljit Dosanjh, going on several bike-rides, painting the town red with their antics. We get to see how their love story blossoms and progresses in the course of the song.

Watch the song right here:

The love-filled song with Punjabi lyrics leaves a smile on your face. The soothing composition of the track is by the composer duo Sachin-Jigar. The lyrics of the song have been penned by Priya Saraiya while it has been crooned by Sachet Tandon. We wonder why Diljit hasn't sung the song himself, especially considering that most of the lyrics are in Punjabi, which happens to be his mother tongue too (food for thought?).

Arjun Patiala also stars Varun Sharma in a significant role. The film that is supposed to be a 'romantic cop spoof comedy' has been helmed by Rohit Jugraj. The movie is slated to hit the theatres on Kuly 26.
