In the immortal words of Vince Lombardi, what the hell is going on here? The Freetown transfer station, a place where folks from the town can get rid of yard refuse, scrap metal, etc., has been closed the last month or so on days chosen willy nilly.

When it is open, and someone other than the usual person running the show is there, that person comes off like he doesn't particularly care or enjoy the job he's doing.

Can someone post on the town's website, or better yet the bulletin boards in town, when the transfer station's going to be closed? It sure beats a sheet of paper used for this at the station's gate.

Finally, the person that worked there and retired needs to be replaced. It should have been done before he left.
