Truesdale Hospital Nurses Alumni award scholarships

FALL RIVER — At the¡r annual spring banquet, the Truesdale Hospital Nurses Alumni awarded five $2,000 scholarships to grandchildren of alumnae members who are pursuing a degree in nursing.

The recipients were Abigail Charpentier and Elizabeth Connors (Gail Bertalotto Charpentier, class of 1963), Amanda Rose Powers (Lois Grover Powers, class of 1952), Elizabeth Sartini (lrene Castergine Sartini, class of 1964), and Abby Schmidt (Judith Beaulieu McCann, class of 1959).

These scholarships, awarded every year after review of applications by the scholarship committee, are a great legacy for the school and have helped many children and grandchildren of alumnae.
