JP Nadda takes stock of BJP's nationwide membership expansion drive

NEW DELHI: BJP national working president JP Nadda on Thursday took stock of the party's ongoing membership campaign during a meeting at the party headquarters in New Delhi today.
A membership expansion drive will be conducted at the booth level for 7 days, it was decided at the meeting. The party plans to further strengthen its organisation through the massive membership drive.

The BJP plans to surpass its earlier registered membership of more than 11 crore members in the current nationwide exercise. Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the membership drive from his Lok Sabha constituency Varanasi last week.

JP Nadda is scheduled to visit Ranchi in Jharkhand on July 13 and 14 to participate in the party's membership drive.

BJP launched the campaign in Odisha with an aim to grow party membership from 36 lakh to 50 lakh.
