Seven bricks of cocaine worth $1million have been found washed up on a stunning beach resort in the Philippines.
A family having a picnic spotted the drugs floating near a beach in Mauban, in the Quezon province, on the Philippines' east coast.
Authorities say the bricks could have been on their way to Australia through the Pacific but are unsure how the tightly-bound packages ended up in the ocean.

This is not the first time packets of cocaine were found on the east coast.
Reports suggest fishermen found 39 cocaine bricks floating near a beach in May.
Philippines Police have also seized more than 200 kg of drugs along the shores of four provinces - Dinagat Islands, Surigao del Norte, Camarines Norte and Quezon since February.
The drugs seized on Sunday are believed to be similar to the ones recovered from other parts of the country.

Police are yet to make any arrests over the most recent discovery, but they previously suggested the contraband could be part of a larger shipment that was seized in the Solomon Islands and Papua New Guinea.

These drugs were seized on a yacht in September last year.
'Way back in September they found around 500 kilograms of cocaine on the Solomon Islands through the help of the Australian Federal Police, with the same packaging, so we think these may have drifted to us,' PNP director-general Oscar Albayalde told CNN Philippines in February.
