The Kerala High Court on Tuesday issued a notice to the Kochi Corporation and the Greater Cochin Development Authority (GCDA) on a petition seeking a directive to ensure proper upkeep of Marine Drive.

The petition was filed by Ranjit G. Thampy of Kochi. According to him, Marine Drive areas were in a pitiable condition.
