Technical snag hits Mumbai's Harbour line, services badly affected

MUMBAI: City's Harbour line services were badly affected during the morning peak hour because of unit failure near Cotton green station on Wednesday.
The incident happened around 9.20am and the rake was cleared by 9.52am but train were late by minimum of one hour. Many commuters were stuck in train for almost 30 to 40 minutes.
Commuters slammed the CR for not giving any updated information about the incident. Spokesperson of CR said, "Locals are being cleared which are bunched up."

Kurla resident Suyash More said, "It took almost one hour for me to reach CSMT."
Another commuter Divya Pathak from Chembur said, "It was almost impossible to get in train as there was overcrowding in train due to delay. Many like me took an autorickshaw to Kurla to board train from main line."
