PAU conducts counselling for BSc (hons) agriculture

Ludhiana: The first counseling for the 2+4 year BSc (Hons) Agriculture at Institute of Agriculture, Bathinda and Gurdaspur was held at Punjab Agricultural University. It may be mentioned that students passing the matriculation exam with 65% marks are eligible for writing the AAT entrance exam for admission to the course which is conducted by the university every year.
PAU registrar Dr R S Sidhu informed that the admission to the programme which has 120 seats is based on the students’ score in this exam followed by counselling and interview. More than 600 students this year have applied for admission to the programme. The second counselling will be held on August 2. Students taking admission to the programme are required to complete two years of study at Arya College students excelled in BCA-4th semester result.
