Book of ghazal collection ‘Ehsas Ki Ek Manzil’ composed by Government Hamidia Arts and Commerce College’s Assistant Professor Dr Mamta Ekka was released at a hotel in the state capital on Sunday. Chief guest on this occasion was Ex-Joint Secretary, Parliament, Ramakant Das and the programme was chaired by Retired IAS Wilfred Lakra.
Dr Noman Khan and Sazid Rizvi reviewed the book of ghazal collection. Though, Dr Mamta Ekka’s mother tongue is Oriya but she has presented ghazals through Urdu language. Dr Ekka said that the Urdu ghazals and Nazms give an emotional touch to her heart. She also recited her selected ‘Shayari’ and Nazms, “Mein Such Bolti Rahi, Magar Faslo Mei Rahi, Who Jhuth Bolte Rahe Aur Tere Qareeb Rahe’. Chief guest Ramakant Das who is also a poet said that Mamta has selected the language for expression of her emotions, is effective.
She has expressed her emotions in ghazals beautifully in the book, said Das. JT Ekka, Nandni Mohanty, IAS MM Upadhyay, RK Sharma, former principal Dr Sudha Singh, Dr Surendra Shukla and other litterateurs of the State capital were present on the occasion. Dr Mohammed Azam Khan proposed vote of thanks.
