SOMERSET — The Town of Somerset is holding a second and final master plan public meeting, Tuesday, July 23, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Somerset Berkley Regional High School Performing Arts Center, as the town moves forward to developing implementation actions for the master plan.

The public is invited to attend this public meeting to learn more about the master plan progress to date and review the vision statement, core values, key issues, opportunities and goals developed through the public engagement process. Participants will also have ample opportunities to review the draft Implementation strategies and have in-depth discussions with the Master Plan Steering Committee. The residents and businesses in attendance will help the town prioritize implementation actions to best achieve the town's vision and goals in the next 15 to 20 years. All are welcome and encouraged to attend.

The master plan outlines the town's goals for economic development, open space, housing and recreation. It addresses job opportunities and growth. The master plan looks at how town departments and the schools help the town to achieve its goals and how much is invested in them.
