Climate change protesters have threatened Brisbane commuters they will swarm the CBD during peak hour, causing lengthy delays.
Translink services warned a protest is likely to disrupt travel between 7.30am and 10.30am on Thursday.
'By causing congestion and getting in people's way we invite them to participate in democracy, this is an emergency,' organisers of the protest wrote on Facebook.
Protesters from the group have previously glued themselves to the road, forcing police to intervene.

'During this time journey planner may not show up-to-date information for services travelling through Brisbane CBD,' Translink wrote on their website.
'Real-time information on the website and app may also be unreliable during this period.'
