The Echo Dot is the smallest member in Amazon’s line-up of AI-powered smart speakers that offer voice controls. The speaker enables you to connect various smart appliances at your place and control them with voice commands. This third-gen Echo dot comes in a new fabric finish, weighing around 300 gms. It can also be paired with bigger speakers via a 3.5mm audio out jack or Bluetooth. The Echo Dot lets you play music from platforms like Amazon Music, Ganna, Spotify, and Jio-Saavn. You also get access to Amazon’s library of Skills which enable everything from shopping to booking cabs, ordering pizzas, playing games and more.

Amazon Prime Day will offer more discounts across all Echo devices. The sale is expected to bring some great deals with good discounts on offer. This is the third edition of Amazon’s Prime day sale in India and it will run from July 15 to July 16. Last year, the sale ran for 36 hours but this time around, Amazon is looking to extend it to 48 hours.

To participate in the sale, you will have to be an Amazon Prime member. Membership costs Rs 999 annually and Rs 129 on a monthly basis. The membership fee includes faster delivery, access to Prime Video, Prime Music, Prime Reading, as well as early access to deals.
