“The Honor 9X Pro is expected to be a mid-range offering with a Kirin 810 SoC”
The Honor 9X Pro smartphone’s alleged schematic has been leaked by the popular gadget tipster Evan Blass aka @evleaks. Notably, the leakster recently also posted a similar photo of the handset’s sibling, the Honor 9X. Both the new handsets from Honor will be unveiled at an event in its home market of China on July 23rd. The brand has already announced that the Honor 9X series will come powered by Huawei’s in-house Kirin 810 SoC, which was recently announced. Both the upcoming smartphones are expected to be mid-range offerings.
As seen in the image above, the Honor 9X Pro will arrive with an all-screen fascia with minimal bezels on all the sides. The smartphone will have a pop-up selfie camera that will come out of top-left whenever it’s required. At the rear, the handset seems to feature a triple primary camera setup, which will be placed vertically at the top-left corner.
The photo also suggests that the device’s power and volume rocker will be located on the right side, while the bottom edge will have the charging port and 3.5mm headphone socket. Unfortunately, the tipster hasn’t revealed anything else about the phone at the moment.
Honor 9X Pro specifications

The smartphone will have a 48MP primary camera at the back, aided by an 8MP secondary shooter and a 2MP depth sensor. For selfies and video calling, the device is said to offer a 25MP pop-up snapper. Lastly, a 4,000mAh battery with 20W fast charging support is tipped to keep the smartphone alive.
Honor will be announcing the pricing and availability of the Honor 9X and 9X Pro in a matter of weeks, so stay tuned to regular updates.
