New 2019 Renault Duster Launched In India At Starting Of Rs 7.99 Lakhs

Renault has launched the new updated 2019 Duster in India at starting  price of Rs 7.99 lakhs (ex-showroom Chennai). The updated model gets some cosmetic updtes on both outside and inside along with additional features. And, this model also available with two new color options - Caspian blue and Mahogonay brown.

The Renault Duster facelift gets an updated bumper, new chrome grille, new 16 inch dual tone alloy wheels and projector headlamps with LED DRL’s, while the rear sports a revised bumper and tailgate with black applique. Inside, the new Duster facelift comes equipped with new trim for the seats, new steering wheel similar to the one seen on the Nissan Kicks and Renault Triber and an updated MEDIANAV infotainment system.

Mechanically, this model remains the same 1.5 liter diesel engine and 1.6 liter petrol engine options. Diesel engine available in two state of tunes first one delivers the power of 85 bhp (3750 rpm) and torque of 200Nm (1750rpm) and second one delivers the power of 110 bhp (5750 rpm) and torque of 245Nm (1750rpm). The lower power diesel variant available with a 5-speed MT while the more powerful 110PS version can be had with a 6-speed MT or AMT. And the petrol engine delivers the power of 104 bhp (5750 rpm) and torque of 148Nm (3750rpm). It can be had with a 5-speed manual transmission or a CVT.  The new Duster facelift rivals against the likes of the MG hector, Tata Harrier, Hyundai Creta, Nissan Kicks and the upcoming Kia Seltos.
