Reports are also doing rounds that Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan is very much a part of this project and he will be seen shaking a leg with Vijay.

Thalapathy Vijay is upbeat about his upcoming flick, Bigil, directed by Atlee. The makers of Bigil took to social media to announce that Vijay would be lending his voice for the song Verithanam, composed by AR Rahman. This will be the first time Thalapathy Vijay will be singing a song composed by Rahman.
According to producer Archana Kalpathi, the song will have lyrics written by Vivek, who scored a hit with Aalaporan Thamizhan from Mersal. She also shared photos from the recording where Atlee, Vivek, AR Rahman and Vijay seemed to have had a lot of fun.
She wrote, “A big thank you to our #Thalapthy from all of us (His fans) for granting our request to sing in this album Trust me the song is #Verithanam Thank you @arrahman Sir, @Atlee_dir @Lyricist_Vivek for making this happen (sic)” Meanwhile, Bigil is likely to be Vijay’s one of the most expensive films as it has been made on a mammoth budget of Rs 165 crore. Sources told l DT Next that the film’s overseas rights have already been sold for Rs 220 crore which is huge for any south Indian film.
“Being a sports entertainer, the makers have put in all their money on the stadium sets and other technical aspects of the film. They have rented a huge football stadium for a month in Mumbai and the shoot is currently progressing there.
