“The Realme 3i was teased by Flipkart earlier today and is expected to be the upcoming budget offering from Realme”
Realme 3i specifications have been revealed in a new Geekbench listing just hours after the smartphone was teased by the company in a Flipkart listing. A new Realme smartphone with model number RMX1827, which is being speculated to be the Realme 3i, has been spotted on the popular benchmarking app. The listing shows the Realme 3i specifications will include 4GB RAM and Android 9 Pie software. While the processor’s name is unclear in the listing, a report by MySmartPrice claims it is the MediaTek Helio P60 SoC. The smartphone’s Geekbench score is 1420 for the single-core test and 5070 for the multi-core test.
The smartphone’s processor will have eight cores and clock speed of 1.99GHz, the listing shows. We can expect the brand to use the ColorOS 6 custom skin based on Android Pie on the handset. The handset is expected to launch in India on July 15th, alongside the Realme X. It will likely be placed between the Realme 3 and Realme C2 in the company’s lineup.
The teaser earlier today confirmed that the Realme 3i will have an almost bezel-less display with a waterdrop notch up top, which is home to the selfie camera. It also suggests that the phone could pack a massive battery cell and respectable cameras. Since the handset will likely be a cheaper version of the Realme 3 smartphone, we may expect it to boast almost similar specifications.
To recall, the Realme 3 ships with a 6.2-inch HD+ display with a 19:9 aspect ratio. It runs on a 12nm MediaTek Helio P70 octa-core processor, which is a slightly better compared to the Helio P60 that will power the Realme 3i. The Realme 3 rocks 13-megapixel + 2-megapixel dual-camera setup on the back and a single 13-megapixel selfie shooter on the front. The handset runs on Android Pie-based ColorOS 6.0 software and houses a 4,230mAh battery.
