Field inspections on new applications for flood relief under the Rebuild Kerala programme will begin on Tuesday.
Engineers under local self-government bodies have been given training in this regard, said a press release here.
District Collector S. Suhas and Deputy Collector Sheela Devi led the training class.
The reports based on field inspections will be submitted within five days and money will be remitted to the bank accounts of beneficiaries within a week. A total of 1,07,000 applications have been received by the district administration after it gave time for appeal to the affected.
