Ludhiana rural police arrest drug peddler with 100 grams heroin

LUDHIANA: Ludhiana rural police on Monday arrested a drug peddler after heroin weighing 100 gram of worth around Rs fifty lakh was recovered from him in Hathur. The accused was identified as Basant Singh of Dalla village in Hathur, who is around 30-year-old.
Police officials said that Hathur police got information from a source that the accused is coming to Lakha village to sell heroin. They added that after finding the information credible, police reached the village and conducted raid at the place where the accused was present. The accused was booked under various sections of NDPS Act and was arrested.
