Cops launch search for missing student

T’puram: Kazhakkoottam Cyber City police have launched a search for a 27-year-old MTech student of College of Engineering, Trivandrum, here who was reported missing from his home since Monday. Dhyan Padmanabhan, residing near Primary Health Centre at Pangappara is the missing person.
As per the registered complaint, Dhyan went out of home on Monday around 10am and never returned. Calls made to his phone remained unattended.
Kazhakkoottam cyber city station house officer inspector J S Praveen said that the mobile phone of the youth was still on at the time of receiving the complaint. Its location was shown to be in Technopark region.
The officer said that it was learned that Dhyan was under severe mental stress lately.
The signal from Dhyan’s phone went off by Tuesday evening indicating that it ran out of power.
