Thousands of devotees are visiting Gundicha Mandap of Sector 10 for paying obeisance at the feet of Lord Jagannath, Lord Balabhadra and Devi Subhadra who have come among the common people to stay with them under the annual sojourn. The deities have come out of their temple and are presently staying at their aunt’s home.
On Sunday, the deities appeared in “Narsingh Avatar” bhesha. Mahabhog was served to about 5000 devotees at Gundicha Temple in Sector 10. Various devotional programmes are being organized here to celebrate the occasion.
Member of Parliament Vijay Baghel also visited Gundicha Mandap in Sector 10 and offered prayers to Lord Jagannath. Committee General Secretary Satyavan Nayak was especially present on the occasion. Women members of the committee made dedicated efforts for organizing the Mahabhog.
Anima Swai, Sujata Sahoo, Reena Nayak, Reeta Swai, Anusuiya Raul, Rituparna Raul, Kunni Swai, Jhunu Mohanty, Priyanka Raul, Shivangi raul, Mamta Nayak, Ranu Swai, Sonu Swai, Rashmita Mahapatra, Shailbala Patro, Anuradha Swai, Varsha, Maniprabha Swai, B Triveni Patro and others played vital role in organizing this event.
