JHANSI: Two farmers, who were brothers, sustained bullet injuries after being shot at in Arghat village under Ajnar police station in Mahoba district on Sunday. Both have been referred to Jhansi medical college for treatment.
The cause of the incident is stated to be a dispute over a boundary wall between the victim and the accused.

On Sunday morning while two brothers--Pawan Kumar (35) and Mahendra (32)--were ploughing their land, three men--Harikishan, Khemchand and Suresh--came to them and started arguing. Later on, they fired at both the brothers and fled from the place.
Hearing gun shots, some villagers rushed to rescue the brothers, and informed the police. They were first taken to community health centre from where they were referred to the district hospital. Station officer, Ajnar police station, Anand Kumar, said, "Both the brothers were shot at in their legs and they are out of danger. An FIR has been lodged against the three named accused under section 307, 323, 504, 506 of IPC". The accused are absconding, he added.
