‘SDRF Training Programme organised for students in Anand Vihar School’

State Disaster Response Force conducted a training to create awareness among students about the safety measures during floods, rains, and any kind of emergency situations. Many demonstrations were done by the team by using daily objects like plastic bottles as safety jackets, empty canisters and broken bamboo as well.

During rainy season the most dangerous thing is flood. To be saved from that as well as to save the victim many activities were demonstrated through holding drowning man with one arm or to cure the water ingestion by the victim. Some emergency situations like earthquake and fire were also demonstrated as well as the ways to be saved showed effectively. Students and teachers took advantage of this activity a lot.

The programme was greatly appreciated by the Chairperson of school Mrs. Archana Bagchi and the President of Vanita Samaj Mrs. Sunanda Thakar. Principal of the school Mr. Shailesh Zope thanked the SDRF team for their wonderful effort, and greeted them with plants as symbol of greenery.
