ISMR celebrates its 13th Induction Day

PUNE: International School of Management & Research (ISMR) held its 13th Induction Day ceremony on Saturday to welcome the 2019-21 batch of MBA and PGDM students.

With a study into the failure stories of successful people and organisations and to motivate the students to take every failure as a learning experience, ISMR B-School is observing the theme #WasItEasy.

Prominent guests included ISMR Founder President Jaikishan Bhutada and Managing Trustee Nilesh Bhutada along with the alumni. 

The programme was graced by eminent and reputed personalities Alfa Laval India Private Limited CHRO and Vice President Vinod Bidwaik, Forethought Corporate Communications Founder and CEO Siddharth Vaze and Maxion Wheels Matter Technical Advisor Product Design Sunil Bhatambrekar.

The welcome address was delivered by ISRM Director Manju Punia Chopra. She spoke about the commitment of transforming students into ‘Corporate Spartans’ by giving an example of an artist transforming a piece of wood into a beautiful sculpture of Lord Ganesha.

An introduction of the institute was presented by Munmun Banerjee, while the guests were welcomed and introduced by Surabhi Jha. 

The guests of honours, in their speeches, encouraged the students to rise from 

mediocrity and seize opportunities by speaking about the importance of the proactive individual initiative and to learn from the smallest of things to gain handy experiences.

Shankar Ragasani, an alumni of ISMR, also shared his experience at the institute, hostel life, internships and the corporate life after ISMR. 

The programme was conducted by Rupesh Shende and Somojita Das, while ‘Vote of Thanks’ was delivered by Prof Priyanka Maratha Toprani.
