K. Sivan and family meet Paryaya seer Vidyadheesha Tirtha in Udupi

Ahead of Chandrayaan II launch, Indian Space Research Organisation chairman K. Sivan offered special prayers at the Sri Krishna Mutt in Udupi on Sunday.

According to a statement from Palimar Mutt, Mr. Sivan and his family met the Paryaya seer Vidyadheesha Tirtha and sought his blessings.

Chandrayaan II, India’s second Moon mission, will be launched on July 15, 2019.

It will be launched at 2.51 a.m. from Sriharikota. The launch includes a lander and a rover for the first time in an Indian space mission. The moon landing is planned for September 6 or 7.
