Stock market update: Realty shares fall; DLF down over 3%

The Nifty Realty index was trading 2.22 per cent down at 275.85 around 10:20 am.

NEW DELHI: Realty shares were trading with losses in Monday's morning session.

Shares of DLF (down 3.10 per cent), Godrej Properties (down 3.05 per cent), Oberoi Realty (down 2.51 per cent) and Indiabulls Real Estate (down 2.16 per cent) were trading in the red.

Sunteck Realty (down 2.02 per cent), Phoenix Mills (down 1.17 per cent), Sobha (down 0.99 per cent) and Brigade Enterprises (down 0.76 per cent) too were trading lower.

The Nifty Realty index was trading 2.22 per cent down at 275.85 around 10:20 am.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 131.95 points at 11,679.20 while the BSE Sensex was down 417.48 points at 39,095.91.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 6 were trading in the green, while 44 were in the red.

Shares of YES Bank, PNB, Vodafone Idea, Bank of Baroda, SAIL, Adani Power, SBI, NBCC, JSPL and Union Bank India were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
