Eligibility Criteria for India Scholars Program:
- Resident of India
- Household income: < Rs 8 lakh per annum for the 100% tuition fee scholarship; between Rs 8 lakh and Rs 15 lakh per annum for the $2,500 tuition scholarship per year
- Take the SAT in Grade 11 or 12 (e.g. for the 2021 admission cycle, student must take the SAT in Grade 11 in the academic session 2019-20 or in Grade 12 in 2020-21)
- Complete Grade 12 in the same year of university admission cycle (e.g. for the 2021 admission cycle, student must be in Grade 12 in the 2020-21 academic session)
- Score 1350+ on the SAT
- Must apply and enroll at an India Global Alliance member university*
India Scholars Program Selection Process
- For the 2020 admission cycle, scholarship candidates and winners will be selected from the following 4 SAT administrations: May 2019, October 2019, December 2019 and March 2020. IGA member universities will review applications and make admission decision.
- For the 2021 and later admission cycles, the March SAT administration will no longer be considered to identify scholarship candidates. However, with the introduction of the August SAT administration in 2020, there will still be 4 admins from which to select scholarship candidates.
