“The Pixel 4 XL is likely to be Google’s most premium smartphone in the upcoming Pixel lineup”
Another thing to note here is the fingerprint scanner. It’s neither at the back nor on the sides, which means the Pixel 4 XL could come with an in-display fingerprint scanner. The back panel will, of course, have a layer of glass to ensure wireless charging is supported, while the bottom edge will house the speaker grill and USB Type-C port. All the physical buttons will be on the right edge, including the Power button that has been painted white. The Pixel 4 XL is said to measure 160.4 x 75.2 x 8.2mm, with the thickness being 9.3mm around the camera bump.
There is no word on the Pixel 4 XL specifications at the moment, but it’s likely to have Snapdragon 855 SoC ticking at its core paired with up to 6GB of RAM. Both Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL will come pre-loaded with Android Q out of the box. Other reports and leaks about the 2019 Google flagships have hinted at a new Display White Balance setting and colour options such as Mint Green, White, and Blue.
