Woman’s gold chain snatched in Trichy

TRICHY: Two motorcycle-borne men snatched the gold chain of a woman riding on a moped here on Sunday night.
The incident happened around 9.40pm when K Tamilpraba, 30, of Malaikottai was returning home from Keezha Devadhananm.
When she was on the Town Station Road, the duo followed her and snatched her gold chain weighing six sovereigns and sped away.
The woman lodged a complaint with the Fort police.
