* All Congress ministers in the state government tender their resignations
Twenty-one ministers of the Congress in Karnataka resigned voluntarily from the cabinet. "Twenty-one Karnataka Congress ministers have resigned voluntarily," Karnataka Congress leader Siddaramaiah told media.
Deputy CM G Parameshwara said that all the ministers in the Kumaraswamy government may resign to save the government and accommodate the rebel MLAs.
* All JD(S) ministers too resign
All JD(S) minsters have resigned, like the 21 Congress ministers who had resigned, Cabinet will be restructured soon, Karnataka CMO informed.
* Independent MLA resigns, says will support BJP
Independent MLA and small scale industries minister H Nagesh resigns, withdraws support to Karnataka government, says he is ready to support the BJP government.
"I've already withdrawn my support to govt headed by HD Kumaraswamy. I would further by this letter unequivocally state I would extend my support to the BJP govt if called for by your good self," H Nagesh said. Later in the day, he reached Mumbai's Sofitel Hotel, where other rebel MLAs are holed up.
* BJP welcomes independent MLA into its fold
"We welcome Independent MLA H Nagesh. We will accept anybody into our party who is from non-political dispensation. We're not in touch with any rebels of the Congress and JD(S), as long as they are with their parties," said Karnataka BJP leader Shobha Karandlaje.
* Rajnath Singh denies BJP's role in developments in Karnataka
"The BJP-ruled government has no relation to the ongoing developments in Karnataka and did not put pressure on any MLA or MP to switch parties," Union minister Rajnath Singh said in Lok Sabha.
"Whatever is happening currently in Karnataka, we have no relation with that," he said, replying to the issue raised by Congress leader Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury.
The defence minister said the resignation drive was started by Congress leader Rahul Gandhi. "Big leaders of Congress are resigning," he added.
* BJP hatching a conspiracy alleges Congress
Congress leader Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury alleged the BJP-ruled government is hatching a conspiracy to break the Congress-led government in Karnataka and Madhya Pradesh. "This government is secretly hatching a conspiracy against the state government. They took our MLAs to a five-star hotel in Mumbai," Chowdhury said during Zero Hour.

* Chief minister HD Kumaraswamy says his government will run smoothly
"The issue will be resolved, don't worry. This govt will run smoothly."
