Man beaten to death over trivial issue in Bhavnagar

RAJKOT: A 29-year-old man was beaten to death with bats and iron pipes by three assailants over a trivial issue in Subhashnagar on Tilaknagar Road in Bhavnagar on Thursday night.
The deceased was identified as Amit Chauhan and alleged assaulter are Satyam, Kishan and Darshan.

“It was while Satyam, Kishan and Darshan were fighting over some issue, hurling abuses at each other, Chauhan happened to pass by in an autorickshaw. When Chauhan stopped there and asked the trio not to fight, they attacked him. Chauhan was taken to Sir T Hospital where he was declared brought dead,” said an official from Ghogha Road police station.
Chauhan’s friend Raju Parmar, who was driving the rickshaw, was also injured in the incident.
