Union Home Minister and BJP President Amit Shah arrived at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport in Shamshabad near here on Saturday afternoon.

During his brief six-hour visit, Mr Shah will kick off the nation-wide party membership enrolment programme in Telangana and also hold discussion with the party’s Core Committee members at a star hotel near the airport.

Sources said he may also hold discussion with the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) officials.

Mr.Shah will fly back to Delhi around 2040 hours tonight.
