The helicopter came down south of Mansfield shortly after 3pm on Saturday, Ambulance Victoria said.
One person is seriously injured and air ambulances raced to the scene.

An Ambulance Victoria spokesperson said: 'Paramedics are treating two people after a helicopter crash near Mansfield.
'Emergency services were called to a property south of Mansfield at about 3.10pm.
'Two air ambulance helicopters have been sent to the scene to assist local paramedics who are treating two people, including one who has serious injuries.'
