River City Baseball Camp begins second week Monday

The River City Baseball Camp will begin Week 2 this Monday, July 8, and run through July 12. This developmental camp, for players age 6-18, will run from 8:30 a.m. to noon each day. The cost is $125.

Bishop Connolly has multiple diamonds and an indoor cage and gymnasium for rainy days. The staff includes director Ted Regan, assistant coach at Eckerd College in Florida; Don Chouinard, former longtime head coach at Bishop Connolly; Brad Bustin, former head coach at Durfee High School; John Seed, head coach at New Bedford High School; Steve Kulpa, former professional player in the Chicago Cubs organization; and Dave Audet, Bishop Connolly grad and longtime area umpire.

There is still room available and players can register as a walk-up on Monday. Checks should be made payable to River City Baseball.
