PIMPRI CHINCHWAD: The Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corpration is planning to create pedestrian corridors connecting main roads to Bus Rapid Transit System (BRTS) routes to increase ridership.
“We will frame the necessary bylaws, make security enhancements and prepare a policy, with the approval of residents to secure land from housing societies lining the Kunal Icon road, in Pimple Saudagar, to execute a pilot project,” civic chief Shravan Hardikar said., while outlining the plan on Saturday.
Santosh Maskar, chairman, Roseland Residency (in Pimple Saudagar) said,“PCMC can create a subway through the society to connect with the BRTS road.”
