In her speech during presentation of Union budget in Parliament, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said, ‘Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana helping to create a large pool of skilled manpower with speed and high-standards.’ Nirmala Sitharaman became first woman Finance Minister to present Union Budget in Parliament. Sitharaman was named as FM in the NDA government 2.0. Sitharaman tabled the Economic survey 2019 in Parliament on July 4, 2019. The NDA government aims to make India $5 trillion economy by the year 2024-25. In absence of the then FM Arun Jaitley, the interim budget was presented by Piyush Goyal on February 1, 2019.
