Xiaomi Mi CC9e smartphone was recently introduced in China aiming at photography enthusiasts. Now, a Xiaomi handset with model number M1906F9SH has bagged FCC certification suggesting the company is gearing up for Mi CC9e global launch. Since CC-series is aimed at the younger audience, it was bound to arrive in markets outside of China, albeit with a different moniker. The FCC documents confirm the dimensions and rear design with a cutout for vertical triple camera setup. Apart from FCC, the Xiaomi M1906F9SH has also received certification from the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) in Russia. It is speculated the handset could be marketed as Mi A3 Lite in European markets and as Redmi 7 Pro in India.
The Xiaomi Mi CC9e mid-range phone sports a 6.08-inch AMOLED display with HD+ resolution, Corning Gorilla Glass 5 layer and a dot notch to accommodate the front-facing camera. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 SoC paired with up to 6GB RAM and 126GB of onboard storage. There is an in-display fingerprint sensor for biometric security and runs on Android 9.0 Pie with MIUI 10 on top.
In terms of optics, the Xiaomi CC9e feature triple rear camera setup with a 48-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture, an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. On the front, there is a 32-megapixel snapper for selfies and video calls. The Xiaomi Mi CC9e is backed by a 4,030 mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging.
