Rajya Sabha that two IAS officers had been dismissed from service on corruption charges in the last three years, whereas sanction was granted for prosecution of 16 IAS officers, two IPS officers and seven
Indian Forest Service (IFoS) officers over the same period.
Minister of state for personnel Jitendra Singh said disciplinary proceedings can be initiated against IAS, IPS and IFoS and other all-India
services officers for misconduct including corruption charges.
