Union Budget 2019: Finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman leaves her house to reach Parliament

Newly-appointed Finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman left her house for Parliament. Sitharaman will present her first Union Budget on July 5. The budget will also be the first to be presented during second term of the NDA government. The NDA government has set a target to make India a $5 trillion economy by the year 2024-25. The economic survey was tabled by Finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman in Parliament on July 4, 2019. The government aims to accelerate private investment to create jobs and drive demand during its second term.
