Scattered rainfall in South Gujarat

Surat: South Gujarat remained cloudy on Rathyatra day with scattered rainfall recorded from across the region. Some talukas of the region recorded good rainfall up to 59mm including Chikli of Navsari district. Surat city recorded .07 mm of rain on Thursday.
In Navsari district, Vasda recorded 39mm and Gandevi recorded 38mm rain, whereas in Dang, Wagai recorded 30mm rainfall. In Tapi district, Songadh recorded 55mm and Valod received 28mm rain. Valsad’s Dharampur recorded 39mm rain on the day.
More heavy rain is predicted in many parts of the region on Thursday and Friday.
