With this certification, localities will be able to request resources from BNDES to the tune of R $ 10 million for financing of tourism infrastructure works.
The amount will strengthen the economy, in addition to developing public policies related to the tourism sector in the region.
The National Secretary for Tourism Structuring, Ministry of Tourism, Robson Napier, handed the seal to the municipality and highlighted the importance of this support.
“It is with great joy that today we deliver this seal to San Francisco de Paula. We are fully confident that it will provide the opportunity for the municipality and entrepreneurs to invest in structuring tourism services, converting this into employment and income for the region,” he said.
For the mayor of the city of San Francisco de Paula, Marcos Aguzzolli, the seal will bring a new boost to local tourism.
“It’s a long time quest. With this great step that has been taken, we will open the doors of investment for our city. It is a new hope for the municipality in terms of development and growth of tourism,” he said.
With the actions that will be implemented and developed, the expectation of the municipality is to attract more tourists and become capable of promoting the sustainable development of the region.
The intention is that, through public policies and programs aimed at the integrated development of actions, it is possible to consolidate tourist activities in the economic, cultural, social and environmental spheres.
