Nagpur: Tsecond Generation Technology Private Limited, an electronics and software company from Nagpur, has bagged private equity investment of Rs2.5 crore from American firm LEPL Tech Holding Company. Tsecond has developed a flow-based fuel gauging system, which it claims gives exact reading of the fuel filled in a tank. It is now eyeing a nearly 10-time hike in its turnover after the investment.
Talking to TOI, founder Sahil Chawla said Tsecond at present has an order book of Rs65 lakh, which it plans to take to Rs5 crore over next few months. The fuel gauging system made by the company is available for power generators at present. The gadget is made by a partner unit at Manesar, and the software was developed by Tsecond at Nagpur, he said.
After the investment, the company plans to increase its product range. The equipment, which is fitted in the inlet pipe of a fuel tank, will also be made for construction equipment and eventually developed for commercial and passenger vehicles, said Chawla. The company is already providing equipment to power generators deployed by major telecom companies, he said.
