Warangal drug inspector dies in road mishap

WARANGAL: Warangal additional drug inspector Banoth Pallavi died in a road accident on Wednesday at Pindiprolu village of Thirumalayapalem mandal in Khammam district. The mishap occurred when the 41-year-old drug inspector was returning to Warangal after attending a meeting of drug controllers in Khammam. She died on the spot, while the driver sustained severe injuries.
The accident took place as the driver lost control of the car and hit a stationary lorry. Khammam One Town police registered a case and shifted Pallavi’s body to government hospital for post-mortem.
