Organisation extending best in class emergency services, says official

The GVK-EMRI (Emergency Management and Research Institute) has endeared itself to the people by offering best-in-class emergency services including 108 ambulances, 102 JSSK pick-and-drop-back services for pregnant women, 1962 Mobile Veterinary clinics, free hearse van services and bike ambulances, said Brahmananda Rao, Chief Operating Officer, GVK-EMRI, Telangana.

Mr Rao reviewed the operations of the whole gamut of GVK-EMRI services (under public private partnership mode) in the erstwhile composite Khammam district with the regional manager, head of the fleet of GVK-EMRI vehicles and the field staff concerned here on Wednesday.

Talking to newsmen, he said the GVK-EMRI personnel earned accolades from people for delivering the emergency services with professional commitment and service motto. Highlighting some specific instances, he said the timely intervention of an Emergency Medical Technician of a 108 ambulance saved the life of an infant born with a serious condition by extending emergency pre-hospital care en route Khammam from Kothagudem recently.

He said the GVK-EMRI is relentlessly striving to render quality emergency services to the needy in a more efficient manner by adopting best practices.

GVK-EMRI Regional Manager Khalid, Head of the Fleet Prasad Raju, district manager Vijayendar, district coordinators Lakshman, Samrat and others were present.
