CHENNAI:
AMMK general secretary T T V
Dhinakaran on Thursday appointed a new set of office bearers of the party. The development comes in the wake of an exodus of functionaries from the party to
AIADMK and
DMK in the recent days.
According to a statement from Dhinakaran, former
Tamil Nadu minister P Palaniappan and former MLA M Rengasamy have been appointed as party's deputy general secretaries. Former MLA P Vetrivel has been made the party's treasurer, a post which was held by Rengasamy earlier.
While R Manoharan is AMMK's new headquarters secretary, C R Saraswathi is the party's new propaganda secretary, a post which was earlier held by Thanga Tamilselvan who joined the DMK last week.
