JoSAA seat allotment 2019: Second round seat allocation result to be released today @josaa.nic.in
NEW DELHI: The Joint Seat Allocation Authority will release the second round seat allotment list today i.e., July 3, 2019.
The candidates who have cleared the JEE Advanced and are participating in the counselling, can check their names in the list once it is released online on the official website - josaa.nic.in.
The second allotment list will be released by JOSAA for JEE Main and JEE Advanced 2019 qualified candidates.
The Government of India, Ministry of Human Resource Development, Department of Higher Education had constituted the Joint Seat Allocation Authority for Joint Sear Allocation process for admission to the Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs). To look into the process flow differences between the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) and National Institutes of Technology (NITs) counselling, a Technical Committee was constituted under the Chairmanship of Director, IIT-Kharagpur. The Technical Committee had recommended Joint Seat Allocation process from the academic year 2015-2016.
As per the recommendations of the Technical Committee, the Joint Seat Allocation process through Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) has been put in place from the academic year 2015-2016 onward.
