Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday met Amreli-based Khimchandbhai, who made a Amreli to New Delhi trip on bicycle.
“Met the exceptional Khimchandbhai from Amreli, Gujarat. Khimchandbhai decided that if BJP wins 300 plus seats, he would cycle from Amreli to Delhi. He kept his word…..,” the Prime Minister tweeted along with a photograph of his and Khimchandbhai.
In another missive, Prime Minister wrote: “……I am told that his cycle journey has drawn several admirers. I was deeply impressed by his humility and passion”.
In the recently held Parliamentary polls, BJP won 303 seats making a record.
