NOIDA: The residents of several sectors in Noida complained about water crisis on Monday and Tuesday which made the daily household chores difficult. Sectors 17, 19, 26 and 27 complained about less water flow in taps on Tuesday and no supply of water on Monday.
"While there was no water after 8.00am on Monday with extremely low pressure, there was no alternate arrangement made by Authority to supply water through tankers. This is the height of negligence on the part of the Noida Authority officials," said RWA general secretary of sector 19, RC Gupta. He further complained about the muddy with slightly blackish colour water.
Rishipal Awana, another resident of sector 19 agreed with Gupta and said, "There was low pressure with dirty water supply in the sector today.".

Even as Manoj Kesri resident of sector 26 complained muddy water and low pressure supply in the sector, Gupta alleged that sectors 19, 27 and 17 are interlinked and that “all these sectors are facing the same problems."
However, on contacting to deputy general manager Jal and sewer department Noida Authority BM Pokhriyal, he said that there was no shortage in supply or quality of water. "We are getting full supply with no quality issues. We have received no complaints on the quantity or quality of water from anyone. Local faults could have led to the poor supply which should be checked," said Pokhriyal.
