Qantas has announced a mega mid-year sale with return ticket prices to the United States for less than $1,000.
The Australian carrier announced the sale as part of this week's Travel Deal Tuesday - and the deals are perfect to escape winter.
Jetsetters from Sydney can head to Los Angeles and return for as cheap as $949.
